Some organisations exist especially for refugees and asylum seekers and invite you to come and meet the people working there.

You can also find out about schools for your children, adult education including English classes, how to access doctors and dentist, about shopping, paying bills and how to make telephone calls.

We hope that you will feel cared for as you make your new home in Gloucester.

If you, or anyone you know, has difficulty reading English please have a look at the Multikulti website - see the link to the right of this article.

This site has useful information in Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, Farsi, French, Gujerati, Somali, Spanish and Turkish on welfare benefits, housing, immigration, health, employment and debt.
