Plans to extend pay and display in parts of Cheltenham and amend operation times in Gloucester have been put on hold following feedback from the public

Plans to amend pay and display in Gloucester and Cheltenham have been put on hold following response from the public.

Gloucestershire County Council was looking at extending pay and display in Gloucester city centre and parts of Cheltenham town, to help increase the turnover of spaces and deter drivers from blocking spaces outside people's homes.

However, feedback from the public as part of a recent consultation will now be looked at before any plans are put in place, working with Gloucester City Council and Cheltenham Borough Council, residents and local councillors to tackle parking problems. This work will include a review of residents parking.
