In bad weather, there is always a risk that a school bus may not be able to carry out a journey due to circumstance beyond our control or that of the operator. Please ensure that your child knows what to do if their school bus doesn't arrive.

If you have any information that would be useful to parents, schools or school transport providers (for example if you know of a road that has been closed due to flooding, that is used to travel to or from a school, please feel free to leave a message on the board below). We suggest that you put the date and school or area affected in the message title to make it easier to find information.

The board is open to the public but messages will not be posted until they have been moderated by council staff. Please DO NOT post urgent messages or school closure information here. This kind of information must be reported to council officers using official procedures. Information on this board has not necessarily been verified by the County Council so please use it for guidance only.
