Elmbridge - one lane down, three to go

The £14.5m Elmbridge Court scheme is entering its final phase. For the next month crews will be working through the night resurfacing the whole roundabout. Drivers are asked to allow extra time for their journeys.

Crews have already started resurfacing the Elmbridge Court roundabout following the year long improvement scheme. This week the inner ring of the roundabout has been resurfaced.

Keeping on track with the programme, next week work moves on to the A40 Golden Valley westbound. So the resurfacing can be carried out safely a full overnight closure will start on Tuesday 29 to Friday 1 September between 22:00-05:00.

All other routes will be open but the outer ring of the roundabout will be closed. A signposted diversion will in place, which uses a combination of the A40, A46, A417 & M5.
