Have your say on the budget

Gloucestershire County Council is asking residents to have their say on proposals to focus on
vulnerable children and adults, better roads and a new school in next year’s budget.

Take part in the consultation

Gloucestershire Shared Lives Scheme

As part of the range of services offered to vulnerable adults, Gloucestershire Shared Lives offers family based accommodation with support  provided by approved carers. Referrals for this service are welcomed from Adult Social Care and partner agencies.

This is a flexible alternative to residential care, enabling and responding to the changing needs of the client.

The Gloucestershire Shared Lives policy describes the recruitment and approval of carers for the scheme, the arrangements for making placements, the support to be offered to carers following placement and the monitoring and review process.
