Have your say on the budget

Gloucestershire County Council is asking residents to have their say on proposals to focus on
vulnerable children and adults, better roads and a new school in next year’s budget.

CIS On-line Assessment

The CIS for adults and childrens social care is a suite of e-assessment tools, to assess new and existing social care worker's knowledge against the standards. The assessment tool is simple to use and generates a report that can be used to identify training and development needs.

The assessments are straight-forward, user friendly and available via the internet, all you need is a web browser. Each completed assessment generates a report that can be used for recruitment, induction planning, evidence portfolios and training needs analysis; providing managers with information to support an effective induction and Continuous Professional Competence.

Identify staff learning needs
Upon staff completing a short selection of questions specifically linked to Skills for Care Common Induction Standards (the average assessment taking 5-10 minutes to complete) they will be issued with an online report which indicates any learning needs. This can be printed out and used in supervisions along with the supporting evidence section to discuss and agree any actions required and what training is necessary.
