How the County Council and partners are working to bring about a sustainable Gloucestershire and tackle climate change

Sustainability, or sustainable development, can be defined as:

Together with our partners, through the Sustainable Community Strategy, Gloucestershire County Council is responding to the many pressing challenges of sustainability. Our goal is to deliver the high quality of life that our citizens expect today and in the future by ensuring that people prosper, the economy remains vibrant, and our unique environment is protected.
