The Gloucestershire Local Area Agreement (LAA)Working together to make a positive difference for the people of GloucestershireThe Gloucestershire Local Area Agreement (LAA) is an agreement between the government and a partnership of local public and voluntary organisations, led by Gloucestershire County Council through the Gloucestershire Conference. It sets a range of improvement targets aimed to help partners concentrate on working to achieve their top priorities and to make a real difference for local people. We have recently signed off our refreshed LAA for 2008 -11 with Government. The LAA was submitted on 23 March 2010 and is available to download at the bottom of this page along with the LAA Delivery Plan for 2009 -10. LAA's aim to make services more effective and efficient by promoting agencies working together, streamlining funding arrangements, simplifying inspection and reducing bureaucracy. As part of the process of identifying and managing priorities we will be monitoring the National Indicator Set (NIS) on a quarterly basis.
