Most areas administered by Gloucester City Council and Cheltenham Borough Council are "unparished"; i.e. they are not parishes in the context of local authorities and don't have parish or town councils although they will have ecclesiastical parishes within them. In unparished areas information is given for localities and the names used are the wards of the district council.
