	Development Control 'Development Control' is the general term used to describe the work we undertake in dealing with planning applications and unauthorised developments.		Minerals and Waste Policy Information on the planning strategy for minerals and waste in Gloucestershire. This includes updates on the county's Minerals & Waste Development Framework (MWDF) and related policy documents

	Regional Planning Significant changes have taken place under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act		Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs) The Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) page explains what they are and how Gloucestershire County Council is involved with the three AONBs that partly fall within the County boundary.
	Gloucestershire Quality Design ensuring that all major new and regeneration development projects in Gloucestershire aspire to high quality design and involve the creative industries (eg artists, craftspeople, designers).

1APP - Standard Planning Application Form
We are now using the new online 1APP Planning Application Forms for applications relating to Waste developments, County Council Developments (Schools, Libraries, Social Services Developments etc.), Variation of Conditions, Reserved Matters, Certificates For Lawful Developments and Prior Notification of Proposed Demolition. 1APP does not yet apply to Minerals Developments.

Planning Online
Public Access is an Internet service that allows users to view details of planning applications. Using this service you can monitor the progress of planning applications, submit comments about planning applications, view a weekly list of planning applications received and validated, view details of some historic planning applications and view property details referenced from a map.

Statement of Community Involvement - SCI
The Statement of Community Involvement sets out how we seek involve the community and key stakeholders in preparing policy documents and determining planning proposals.
