Housing support for young people

Are you aged 16 to 19 (or 25 if you have a disability) and in need of help with housing issues? The Gloucestershire Youth Advice Housing Service can help

Teenager

You may need help:

  • if you are homeless
  • if you are looking for somewhere to live
  • if you have problems paying your rent
  • if you are having problems with your landlord
  • if you want to know more about your rights
  • if you want to know about other services that may be able to help with other problems in your life.

Who to contact

Contact your nearest Connexions office for help if you are

  • aged 16 to 19
  • aged up to 25 with disabilities

Connexions Advisors can arrange to meet you if you live in a rural area where they do not have an office. Find your nearest Connexions office

Contact your Soulutions Worker if you are a care leaver. Telephone 01452 427796 or Free phone dial 144 then 736 825 531 408.

Alternative Solutions To Running Away (ASTRA)

ASTRA provides support, advice and information to young people up to the age of 18 who have run away. This might be from their family home, foster home or residential unit. They can be contacted on Freephone 0800 389 4992, (young people only)
