Parliament Children's Centre
based in Stroud
At Parliament Children's Centre children from 0-5 and their families can find the services they need under one roof. Our helpful and experienced members of staff are on hand to help provide access to information guidance and advice. We provide high quality early learning and play for children, support groups for parents and in the future will be providing home visits and outreach if required. We maintain close links with Parliament Primary School but as we develop as a Children's Centre and expand we will build strong links with our other partner schools, Thrupp, Gastrells, Rodborough, Stroud Valleys, Uplands &The Rosary. Services  - Drop-in time for families
Drop-in sessions are structured in such a way as to encourage adult involvement in their child's development, education and play. A variety of activities, toys and equipment will be available for use. Members of staff are present to offer support, help and guidance. The range of activities presented provides opportunities for your child's development in all areas, i.e. personal and social, language, mathematics, physical, creative, and helping them to understand the world around them.  - Flexible Nursery sessions led by a qualified teacher and forest school leader. We take nursery grant vouchers for children the term after they turn three.

- Adult Education with crèche facilities
We have links already with Parentline plus and Stroud College with a strong history of providing adult learning opportunities. Come and look at our notice boards for further details. - SNAP group (Special Needs and Parents), which is a support group for parents and carers of special needs children from 0 to 19 yrs. (Unfortunately this is the only group which can accommodate school age children as necessary).

- Health visitor's clinics held at the centre and close links with our health visitors ensure our families get the best support available.
