Inhuman TrafficThe Inhuman Traffic web resource![]() This web resource forms part of the "Inhuman Traffic" project by Gloucestershire Archives and partners to mark the 200th anniversary of the abolition of British involvement in the transatlantic slave trade. It is based on documents held at Gloucestershire Archives, especially the papers of the early anti-slavery campaigner Granville Sharp (1735-1813). It covers:

These files may take a few moments to download. The "Inhuman Traffic" virtual exhibition is also showing free of charge at various community venues in Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire from 28 April to November 2007.
