Common Induction Standards (CIS)

The CIS for adults and childrens social care is a suite of e-assessment tools, to assess new and existing social care worker's knowledge against the standards. The assessment tool is simple to use and generates a report that can be used to identify training and development needs.

Scils provides a wide range of e-learning and development solutions for staff throughout social care, health and children/young people's services. For access to the training, please choose the Scils link below.

Embrace E-Learning

This programme was developed by a company called Embrace and is a national initiative to help orvide basic information about the MCA to the general public. It covers how to use e-learning, the 5 key principles, assessing capacity and IMCA's. It can be completed in 10-20 minutes.
