Registration Office Ceremonies

There are six ceremony rooms across the county to choose from – Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Moreton in Marsh, Cinderford and Cirencester. Each ceremony room varies in size and style ranging from the recently refurbished ceremony room In Cheltenham which seats 30 people to the beautiful high ceiling room in Moreton in Marsh seating up to 60 people. After booking your wedding at a register office you and your partner will need to give your Notices of Civil Partnership. Please read Legal Requirements for more information about giving your Notices of Civil Partnership.

Approved Venues

As an alternative to a register office you could choose to hold your ceremony in one of the wonderful approved venues across the county. Once you have a chosen a venue and made a provisional booking it is essential to contact us on 01242 532455 to make your booking with us on the day and time you would like.

Registration officers can attend approved venues on any day of the week between 8am and 4pm. There is a charge for their attendance and this will vary depending on which day you are having your ceremony. Read how much it will cost to have a civil partnership
