These include collections of books and periodicals, maps, newspapers, photographs, illustrations, directories and census returns.

• Material is held in seven centres across the county.
• You can find reference material in the Locate catalogue
• You can find lending material in the library catalogue
• Gloucestershire Archives and the local and family history centres hold a  range of local newspapers [515kb].
• Ancestry Library Edition is available at all libraries and Gloucestershire Archives free of charge.
• The Times Digital Archive and News UK database is also available through the Virtual Reference Library.
