Working together through the Gloucestershire Conference structure, these bodies are collectively responsible for:

• Agreeing a long-term vision and success measures for Gloucestershire (set out in the Sustainable Community Strategy)
• Translating that vision into medium-term targets and delivery plans (through the The Gloucestershire Local Area Agreement (LAA)and other delivery plans)
• Delivering improvements which make a real difference for the people of Gloucestershire
• Monitoring and evaluating the work of the partnership

	Information & Events for Stakeholders This page contains useful information for wider stakeholders.		Thematic Partnerships There are 5 thematic partnerships within the Gloucestershire Conference
	Gloucestershire Strategic Partnership The Gloucestershire Strategic Partnership (GSP) is a 'partnership of partnerships', providing the framework within which other partnerships operate.		Accountable Bodies Group The Accountable Bodies Group (ABG) brings together council and other leaders to commit and sign-off major decisions emerging from the partnership structures.
	Community Strategy Executive Board The role of the Community Strategy Executive Board (CSEB) is to support and advise the Gloucestershire Strategic Partnership and the Accountable Bodies Group and to implement their decisions.		Gloucestershire Conference Support Group A multi agency support team has been brought together to support the Gloucestershire Conference in developing and delivering the Gloucestershire family of Sustainable Community Strategies in order to improve outcomes and quality of life for local people.
	Sustainable Community Strategy Partners have developed a shared set of ambitions in the Sustainable Community Strategy for Gloucestershire. These have been supplemented by a set of 10-year success measures and targets (March 2009). 	District Local Strategic Partnerships in Gloucestershire Each of Gloucestershire's 6 districts also has a Local Strategic Partnership which brings together public, private, voluntary and community organisations.		Toolkits and Reference Documents
	Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) was the Government's inspection regime for local government and its partners from April 2009 to June 2010. It provided an assessment of how well people are being served by their local councils and other public services.		Joint Strategic Commissioning Plans Each of the Thematic Partnerships within the Gloucestershire Conference has produced a Strategic Commissioning Plan which sets out how they will deliver the partnership's priorities over the next 3 years.
	Total Place Total Place is an ambitious initiative that takes a whole area approach to public services in Gloucestershire, in order to deliver better services at less cost.
