Occupational Road Risk

Occupational Road Risk is about getting to grips with one of the biggest health and safety problems affecting organisations today.

Beware on coming vehicles in the centre of the road

Did you know that car drivers who cover 25,000 miles or more as part of their job are at almost the same risk of being killed at work as construction workers are?

Equally shocking is the fact that between 800 and 1000 UK road deaths per year result from accidents involving vehicles being driven for work purposes, and there are over 77,000 injuries to employees every year as a result of 'at work' road accidents.

The Road Safety Group is encouraging businesses to look seriously at their processes and procedures to establish a 'smart' approach to management of their occupational road risk.

We have a team of trained instructors who can provide both the theory and the practical guidance and training designed to significantly reduce these risks..

We provide this service to a growing number of Gloucestershire businesses, at a current fee of £23.00 per hour (subject to change on 1st April 2009).
