The Duke of Edinburgh's AwardDofE is for all young people, whatever their background or ability, aged 14 to 25.![]() Are you aged 14 - 24 and looking to try something new? DofE could be for you. For more information visit the National DofE website. You can do fun activities at three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold, which lead to a Duke of Edinburgh's Award. You'll find yourself helping people or the community, getting fitter,developing skills, going on an expedition and taking part in a residential activity (Gold only). But here's the best bit - you get to choose what you do! If you live in Gloucestershire, you can contact the Accreditation Team who will be happy to support you. The Accreditation Team is part of the Gloucestershire County Council Youth Service. You can also do your DofE as an independant participant through one of our Open DofE Centres. Contact us for information about which DofE Centres are available near you. We are always keen to welcome Gold Award holders who are looking to volunteer locally. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us and we have many exciting opportunities to support young people to do their DofE available. |
