Mid Year Population Estimates

Gloucestershire County Council in-house population estimates are available at district and neighbourhood level and are more accurate than the Office of National Statistics (ONS) estimates because local data sources are fully used.

However ONS estimates for Districts and the County are considered to be the "official " estimates by central government and usually should be used in all returns and reports to central government."
