About Adult Social Care
Adult Social Care is currently on an exciting and rapidly developing journey. Our service covers six locality teams alongside specialist teams, such as Learning Disabilities, acute hospitals and community hospitals.
We support a large variety of Service Users, families and carers over the age of eighteen. Each of our teams work collaboratively with local partners, providers and the voluntary sector to maximise independence for service users, families and carers across Gloucestershire.
“Within the last year, we have successfully put a new team together that has experts in learning disabilities, older people, and physical disabilities and introduced a new approach to dealing with incoming work. I can honestly say that despite some of the difficulties we are all aware of financially we continue to improve our delivery, practise and knowledge. We are an enthusiastic team!”
Dawn Porter (Head of Service for Integrated Adult Social Care)
