Gloucestershire County Council is asking residents to have their say on proposals to focus on
vulnerable children and adults, better roads and a new school in next year’s budget.

Computer buddies

We have volunteer computer buddies in some libraries who can offer you help with using library computers, tablets and getting online.

Please look at your local library page to find out when sessions take place

  • Bishops Cleeve Library and Children's Centre: Monday 2pm - 4pm; Friday 10am - 12pm; Sunday 1pm - 2pm
  • Charlton Kings Library and Children's Centre: Wednesday 10am - 12pm 
  • Cheltenham (including Children's library): Monday: drop-in session 10am-4pm; Tuesday: drop-in session 10am-1pm; Thursday: drop-in session 10am-1pm and Saturday: drop-in session 11am-1pm (times may vary, please ring 01242 532686 to confirm)
  • Chipping Campden Library:Monday mornings during library opening hours and Wednesday afternoons during library opening hours (by appointment only).
  • Churchdown Library: Tuesday 10.30 - 12pm; Wednesday 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm; Thursday 3.45pm - 4.45pm (by appointment only)
  • Cirencester Library: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday:9.30am - 12.30pm (by appointment only)
  • Dursley Library:Saturday by appointment from 2pm
  • Fairford Library and Children's Centre: Monday and Wednesday  9.30am - 12 noon (by appointment only) during library opening hours
  • Gloucester Library including Music and Performing Arts: Monday, Wednesday and Friday:10am - 1pm - half an hour 1:1 assistance These sessions can be booked a week in advance
  • Hucclecote Library: Monday by appointment 10:30am - 12pm. Tuesday by appointment 1pm - 2:30pm. Thursday by appointment (occasional) 2pm - 4pm
  • Lechlade Community Library: By appointment during library opening hours
  • Longlevens Library: Wednesdays 2pm - 4pm and Fridays 10am - 1.00pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm term time drop-in session and by appointment
  • Lydney Library: By appointment during library opening hours
  • Matson Library: Monday 2pm-4pm (by appointment only) or Wednesday 10am-1pm (drop in session).  Also Family History Buddy by appointment
  • Moreton-in-Marsh Library: Tuesday 9.30am - 12.30pm- appointments can be made at other times if buddy is available - please check with Library for availability (term time only)
  • Nailsworth Library: Every Wednesday 10am - 12pm up to 2 hours by appointment
  • Prestbury Library: Every Tuesday 10am - 12pm
  • Quedgeley Library: Monday 10am - 12pm and Friday 2pm - 4pm (appointments may be available at other time)
  • Stow-on-the-wold Library and visitor information centre: By appointment only
  • Stroud Library: Monday 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 6.00pm (by appointment only); Tuesday 10-1pm (drop-in session); Wednesday 10am - 12pm (by appointment only, half hour slot) 
  • Tetbury Library: Tuesday 1.30pm - 3.30pm and Friday 10am - 12pm (by appointment only)
  • Tewkesbury Library: By appointment during library opening hours
  • Tuffley Library: Monday 2pm-4pm (by appointment only)
  • Up Hatherley Library and Children's Centre: Tuesday 10.45am - 12.45pm
  • Winchcombe Library and Children's Centre: Monday 11am - 12 noon drop-in (also available by appointment)
