Gloucestershire Local Resilience Forum (LRF)The Gloucestershire LRF web pages have moved.View the new Gloucestershire Local Resilience Forum website at gloucestershireprepared.co.uk Background to the Local Resilience Forum The Gloucestershire Local Resilience Forum (LRF) was established in April 2005 as a requirement of the Civil Contingencies Act, 2004. In essence the group had been operating for some time as the Major Incidents Co-ordinating Group. The original group was established in 1990 in recognition of the need for integrated emergency management procedures. It has provided a forum for the co-ordination of a multi-agency response to major emergencies in Gloucestershire. Now with only minor changes to the structure of the sub-groups it has transformed into the LRF. All other content is now on the new LRF website. |
