Online forms
We are currently experiencing some problems with online forms.
Please do not attempt to use any of the online form links on this page.
Although you may be able to complete the form we cannot process them and your data will be lost.
Search the Library catalogue
Browse over a million items on Gloucestershire's library catalogue, from books and DVDs to spoken word cassettes and videos. Anyone can access the catalogue to browse, but if you want to order or renew an item or check your current loans and charges, you must be a member and have a library card.
Already a member
- Sign into the catalogue with your library card number to order and renew items or check your account.
- Join, Update your membership details or request a PIN number online
If you have lost or damaged your library card please visit any county library to request a replacement card.
Please note, in order to check customer details, we set a 3 year automatic expiry date. This means you will be asked to confirm your details when you visit the library. If you use our electronic services you may find you are not able to access them or complete a request online if your account has expired. Please contact us or visit your local library to ensure your membership is updated quickly and you can resume use of services.
Renewing
You can:
- Renew online via the library catalogue. You will need your library card number to log into your account.
- Renew your items by phone - Contact The Library
- Renew at a library.
Ordering
- Library members can reserve items freeof chargethrough the online library catalogue or by visiting any Gloucestershire library (there is a charge at a library).
- We can request books from other library authorities for you using our Inter-library loans service to request a book that is not in our catalogue.
Trouble shooting: If you have tried to order an item via the 'reserve' option in the catalogue, you may see the message: 'request failed'.
In most cases this will be because your library membership has temporarily expired, and you need to contact us or visit your local library to confirm your details as library accounts automatically expire every three years.
