Linda Uren, Director of Children's Services, would like to take this opportunity to invite you to "Shaping the Future of Education in Gloucestershire", a one day education conference on Tuesday 7th February 2017 for all Gloucestershire primary and secondary schools.

We are delighted to confirm Rebecca Clark, Regional Schools Commissioner as Keynote Speaker. She will be leading the day with a session on "A Roadmap Towards an Outstanding School System in Gloucestershire".

We will also welcome Simon Rowe, Senior HMI from Ofsted; James Richardson, a Senior Analyst from The Education Endowment Foundation. During the conference they will lead talks on "Trends in Education - Current Thinking" and "How we get to an Outstanding School System".

Linda Uren and Gillian Hayward, Chair of Gloucestershire Schools Forum, will lead a panel discussion and question and answer session.

The afternoon sessions on funding and demographics will be of particular interest to School Business Managers, Finance Managers and School Administrators. Stewart King, Lead Commissioner for Education and Skills will lead a session on "The Future of School Funding in Gloucestershire". Moira Pratt, Lead Commissioner for Schools will lead a session on "Changing demographics and the Impact on Gloucestershire Schools".
