Local Authority Profile Moderation Visit

Schools were notified at the end of January by email if they have been selected for a moderation visit during May.

Moderation Workshops

These sessions are free of charge and will run during March 2017 in various venues around the county. Further details including how to book onto these workshops are in the Early Years Training Directory. The session will include an update on all national messages relating to Reception assessment and GCC recommend attendance by all schools.

The Standards and Testing agency recommend - “Schools should consider sending staff to EYFSP training if they are not receiving a moderation visit in 2017”

Cluster Moderation

As in previous years schools are required to organise cluster moderation meetings and inform the LA when, where and with whom these will take place. Cluster notification paperwork is on the web pages as above.

All schools must notify the Early Years Team by 26th February 2017 of their cluster moderation arrangements.
