Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are pleased to share with you our Joint Implementation Strategy and Plan for children and young people with additional needs including special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The strategy and plan sets out our current position and direction for working together to help children and young people with additional needs to thrive. The Strategy (main body of text p.1-15) is still in draft which reflects how the strategic partners are bringing together relevant legislation and codes of practice into one document presenting a joint position.

The Plan (p.16-25) sets out 10 outcome areas we continue to work on for our children and young people with additional needs and their families.

We want to hear your views on the proposed plan as well as how your school will contribute to supporting children and young people with additional needs to ensure they reach their full potential.

We value your views, and your contribution and feedback to the plan would be very much appreciated.
