The Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) Community

Published
28.03.2017

SEAL develops students’ skills of self-awareness, managing feelings, motivation, empathy and social abilities through a structured curriculum (all materials provided) and whole-school reinforcement. These skills have been robustly linked to pupil achievement and attainment and represent fundamental ‘gateway’ skills to learning.

The curriculum and whole-school aspects link fully to PSHE, GHLL initiatives, Ofsted SMSC judgments, and what the current government has termed ‘ character education’ promoting ‘resilience and grit’.

GHLL has purchased the licence for all Gloucestershire schools/colleges to access the materials through the SEAL COMMUNITY which comes fully funded to you from GHLL.

To access member benefits you need to register and create your own username and password. Please see attached.
