What will happen after the closing date

When we receive your Common Application Form by the closing date we will look at the schools/academies which you have put as a preference and see if we can offer you a place at any of them.

You will find out which school/academy your child has been offered on allocation day. All parents will receive this notification in writing and if you applied online you will also receive an email confirmation of the school/academy offered.

Applying for a school place during the school year (in-year applications)

If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons you will need to fill in an application form.Download the form and read the Frequently Asked Questions.

Applying for a school bus pass

Your child may qualify for help with the cost of transport to school. If you wish to apply for a free travel pass please do so by 14 March 2012 unless you are going to appeal.  Go to Transport to school to apply.
