Regulations

Berkeley Site is strictly controlled by regulations which aim to ensure that all activity is managed safely with no unacceptable risk to people or the environment.

The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) is responsible for regulating the safety and security of Berkeley Site. The Environment Agency is also responsible for regulating the site to enforce laws and regulation that aim to protect human health and the environment.
