Have your say on the budget

Gloucestershire County Council is asking residents to have their say on proposals to focus on
vulnerable children and adults, better roads and a new school in next year’s budget.

Volunteering in emergencies

In emergency situations volunteering can simply be checking on a vulnerable neighbour or even helping them with shopping or moving furniture.

Would you like to do more?

Gloucestershire County Council runs an Accreditation scheme for volunteers which provides organised help in an emergency using trained volunteers (training provided) from local organisations such as:

  • Churches together
  • St. John Ambulance
  • British Red Cross
  • Rotary
  • Royal Voluntary Service
  • Salvation Army

If you already volunteer and would like to get involved in the scheme or learn more about it, please email civilprotectionteam@glosfire.gov.uk.
