All themes
- Timer text for hours, minutes, seconds does not pass contrast: Text contrast of 2.81 with its background is less than the WCAG AA minimum requirement for text of size 11px and weight of 400
- Requirement is 4.5
- Text colour change to #000000 (black)
- Place content "Closures" box: Text contrast of 4.29 with its background is less than the WCAG AA minimum requirement for text of size 16px and weight of 400

- Text colour change to minimum #555555 (grey)
- Notices: colour/background selections are not validated for contrast (advice needed on accessible pairs)
Green
- Current "green" is #82bc00 - change all to #028856 (London theme)
(Consideration must be given to :hover & :visited for active elements) - All buttons white text on #028856
(Consideration must be given to :hover & :visited)
Lime
This theme is problematic because all contrast is worse than "green" & there is limited scope to improve by darkening the green or using better colours for foreground text on lime backgrounds.
Withdraw theme which will affect:
- https://www.proudtocareglos.org.uk/
Switch these to green or another alternative theme.
Pink
As with "green" the contrast between white text/background and pink background/text is insufficient at 4.22.
- Increase contrast by using "MediumVioletRed" - #c71585 = 5.42
(Consider :hover & :visited)
- Subject to confirmation by design - alternate suggestions may be more to their aesthetics
- Note: this will fail WCAG AAA if we are aiming for that
Ultra-red
- Paragraph formats, "intro-text" and "blockquote" text colours are #cf5300 which does not match the main red for the theme: #d01c21
- Change to theme colour passes contrast check
- Headings on grey background (related items) have insufficient contrast
- Requires text colour: #dc143c
- Because of related box heading issues - recommended that theme uses #dc143c
Orange
None of the accepted "orange" hues work for this theme.
- Use "FireBrick" - #b22222
(Consider :hover & :visited)
Purple
- "Intro-text" and "Blockquote" use lighter purple: #9781ad
- Switch to full theme text colour: #532c7b
Content section (theme independent)
Independence from theme produces inconsistent left colours.
Proposal is that content section entry sets colour of it's own tab (allowing multi-coloured left menu) and is independent of theme which wold dictate the main heading colour, description, intro & hint.
Internal headings can either:
- Follow main site theme (preferred as it's less jarring)
- Folow content section theme (which would have to be developed)
