  • Pages with embedded maps may not be accessible to screen readers or keyboard control;
  • Some third-party embedded content may not be fully accessible & we have not or cannot provide an accessible alternative;

  • Some images may contain text & have inadequate accessible text options;
  • Pages may not follow correct structures with missing or wrongly sequenced headings;
  • Some menus with icons may repeat links;
  • Some buttons are not correctly identified;
  • Some automated content has duplicate alternative text;

white

  • Button background is very light grey which:
    • lacks impact - difficult to see so links don't stand out
    • is indistinguishable from the grey background in some sections

Content section issue that can cause accessibility

  • Content section does not default to the site theme (always light-blue) & you have to select it so it's possible to use a non-compliant colour for content section pages (eg pink) when using a compliant theme like red.
  • It's also possible to select different colours for each content section which has odd effects on the menu
  • Content area of the content section follows main site theme so accessibility problems are inherited
  • Checks for left menu & Intro area:
    • dark-blue: no issues
    • pink: no issues
    • light-blue: no issues
    • yellow: no issues
    • purple: no issues
    • green: no issues
    • kashmir-blue: no issues
    • gray: no-issues
  • Changing colours are confusing. A better effect would be that the container inherits the site theme and the left 'tabs' could have their colour set.
