Learn about the history of writing and try your hand at using an old style pen. Scribes in the past had to start again if they made a mistake or an unfortunate ink blot! Find out how ink was made and learn the unpleasant truth about parchment, on which some of our oldest documents were written.
Session time: 2pm-4pm. No booking required
