Case Study: The Kempley Tardis Project

This page provides details of a local community project that has benefited from advice provided by Gloucestershire Archives

"Kempley Tardis" is an interactive community archive website launched in 2011. It focuses on the social history of Kempley - a small rural village in North Gloucestershire famous for its daffodils - linking archival resources and digital story-telling. The "Tardis Tour" feature uses historic maps with "hotspots" to lead into a searchable database. Website visitors can also explore Kempley's two spectacular churches in a 360 degree virtual tour and listen to contributions from architects and historians.
