First round allocations for the Build Back Better Market Towns Fund
The Build Back Better – Market Towns fund has allocated £385,000 to help support events across the county, with the aim of boosting the economy of our market towns and high streets.
In total, 45 bids for funding were supported ranging from £1,000 to £25,000, with £385,386 allocated (see below for the breakdown). This money will help event organisers to meet the shortfall of funding caused by the pandemic.
