Gloucestershire Libraries subscribe to a wide range of information resources to support business users, whether you are a start up or trying to grow your business, looking for a job, an inventor or investor.  See our Library reference and enquiry services.

Company information and reports

Do you need full company details and accounts, or lists of directors? Looking for new suppliers or markets in Europe?  We can supply you with the information from our business databases Mint and from Keynote reports.

Starting a business

If you are thinking of starting a business, you can obtain business information by accessing the Growth Hub website and creating an account. Alternatively use our Ask us enquiry form

Business to business mailing lists

If you want to target new markets we can compile mailing lists for you from our databases. We can search across a range of criteria including location, type of business, turnover or number of employees and then format the information for your individual needs on a spreadsheet.

The Mint database includes companies in Gloucestershire and we can search for any part of the UK. You can use Mint at Gloucester Library. Alternatively contact Ask Us Legal information
Legislation does not remain static. Acts are amended, consolidated and repealed and case law interprets and refines the law.  To make sure your research is always current we have subscriptions to authoritative and reliable legal resources available to reference at Gloucester Library or use our Ask us enquiry form

 

Start and Grow Enterprise

Start and Grow Enterprise is a fantastic project supporting entrepreneurs and start-up businesses in Gloucestershire. The project can support anyone with a business idea, and existing start-ups trading up to 3 years. The project offers free training, events, networks and resources, plus access to mentoring, co-working space, and the opportunity to apply for funding.

Start and Grow Enterprise is a University of Gloucestershire programme, part-funded by ERDF, and will run until December 2019. We are based at The Growth Hub in Gloucester.
