How to book
Whether you choose a simple registration or a more traditional ceremony you will need to contact the ceremonies team at Gloucestershire Registration Service on 01452 425060 (option 3).
During the booking process, one of our ceremonies team will discuss your choice of ceremony and the availability of our registrars. Please note that booking with us can take 10-15 minutes over the phone.
Once the booking is made, you will receive two emails from us. The first will be a booking confirmation email detailing your ceremony date, time and venue. The second will be a welcome email containing a link for you to access your Ceremony Portal. Here you will be able to make your ceremony payments, book your notice of marriage appointments (only applicable for those residing in Gloucestershire) and complete your ceremony choices.
A booking administration fee (non-refundable) is payable online within 24 hours of making your booking. Details of our fees will be provided during the booking process.
Please be aware you must sign a legal statement at your local register office to say you intend to get married or form a civil partnership. This is known as ‘giving notice’. You will be required to attend a notice appointment at your local register office. The ceremonies team can advise you further on attending a notice appointment when you book.
