Fostering Recruitment Team
The Fostering Recruitment Team is what you’d expect and much more. We are the first point of call for people thinking about becoming foster carers and provide information stands and sessions for potential applicants. From there, we screen applicants to ensure that before they embark on our assessment and approval process, they are ready.
Our Social Workers have a good skill set for holistic assessments, using evidenced based practice and research to ensure that applicants can provide secure, safe and welcoming homes for children who have experienced loss and trauma. Our Social Workers need to have a working knowledge of the relevant legislation for fostering as well as an understanding of therapeutic parenting.
After a person(s) becomes a foster carer, we provide in-depth supervision, training and support throughout their first year as foster carers. We build close relationships with foster carers, placement finding teams and children’s Social Workers.
We are a close knit team of highly dedicated social workers and family support workers with a strong and stable leadership team. We are looking for motivated positive and solution focused professionals to join us.
