Friends and Family Assessment and Support Team
The Friends and Family Assessment and Support Team assess and support kinship carers.
We work closely with children’s Social Workers undertaking Special Guardianship Order (SGO) viabilities, court ordered SGO assessments and also undertake kinship fostering assessments. We support SGO carers once the orders are made in Court. Our team covers the whole of the UK and no day is ever the same.
We are a busy team that is diverse, very supportive, friendly and enthusiastic about what we do. We work hard and are a sociable group of professionals sharing time together to celebrate achievements and good practice.
