ADVANCE NOTICE – ICT disruption Saturday 8th July 2017

Saturday 8^th July 2017 – between 9am and 1pm

Security appliance maintenance, impacting Internet connections The work will impact network connectivity which in turn impacts the following services

• Purely internal applications such as Eric, Liquid Logic, Capita One are unaffected
• Internet Access from GCC laptops, desktops and thin client devices
• Email – delays send/receive, including mobile devices eg, Good, Blackberrys
• Remote Access for GCC staff and CAP Gemini, eg UAG, NetScaler, Good, Blackberry Dynamics
• Remote Hosted solutions, eg wellbeing, metacompliance, Talis Alto, Flare downloads, WebEx, Chip and Pin
• Staffnet site from devices on the GCC network and personal devices outside of GCC
• GCC WiFi - using any of the internal WiFi networks
• SAP from machines external to GCC
• Public/external access to any systems hosted on the GCC network.  This includes :  Closed schools, Archives (Calm), BMD (Births Marriages and Deaths). 
• Any Firmstep forms (we should take them all down as we do on patching Sunday).  E.g. HRC Van booking form, Order a copy of a Birth, Death or Marriage Certificate.

Please inform any key users of your systems who would be impacted by this weekend activity and consider implementing your business continuity arrangements where applicable.
