Anti-Slavery Week 17- 23 October
To mark Anti-Slavery Week – 17-23 October Gloucestershire Anti-Slavery partnership (GASP) has teamed up with Escapeline, a child exploitation charity who provides training on how to spot the signs and take action to protect children and young people from enslavement and exploitation.
All GCC staff and partners have been invited to complete the training as part of our aim to raise awareness of the different types of slavery and exploitation, how to spot when it’s happening and what action to take to help protect children and young people.
Information on modern slavery and how it affects both adults and children will also be shared internally and externally though our social media channels.
More information about the training can be found on the Escapeline website and information on modern slavery can be found at Unseen.
