Please look out for the consultation on the proposed changes to notification for Streetworks Roadspace bookings. This new system will give increased powers when managing roadspace booking for road works. The new system allows the authority to charge utility companies for approving permits to work on the street, in general terms this is proved to reduce the duration and impact of road works. If conditions that are applied to a booking are not adhered we have increased powers to fine the company.
