Proposed Gloucestershire County Council Bus Lane Order 2017

We are about to consult on a new County-wide Bus Lane Traffic Regulation Order. This will provide a clear, consistent basis for all bus lanes in the County, which will:

• Make it easier for customers to understand the restrictions in place for each bus lane;
• Make consultation for new bus lanes simpler
• Bring the wording of the Orders in line with current enforcement practices;
• Formalise the adopted LTP policy position of allowing Private Hire Vehicles to use all bus lanes.
