Local Government Pension Scheme for Councillors Booklet
A guide to the Local Government Pension Scheme for eligible Councillors.
PLEASE NOTE: following the implementation of the LGPS 2014 Regulations from 1st April 2014, councillors can no longer join the LGPS scheme. Any councillor contributing on 31st March 2014, can only continue to contribute for the remainder of their term of office (i.e. until the next election following 1st April 2014).
