Finance and IT
Financial Plans
Financial plans demonstrate how the council's financial resources will be deployed over the next three years to deliver declared aims and priorities.
Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS)
The strategy sets out the overall shape of the council's budget by determining the level of resources that will be available and how these are currently allocated between services. This provides a medium term framework to enable members and officers to develop detailed annual budget allocations.
For more details see the Budget and Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) page
Information Technology (IT)
The ICT Strategy seeks to underpin the council’s strategy – ‘Looking to the future’ and its priorities, along with the council’s Digital Strategy which seeks to digitally connect communities across Gloucestershire and to fully understand and exploit the benefits of implementing digital technologies.

Digital Strategy
To get us to the right solutions (technical or otherwise) digital transformation requires dynamic change both at council and county level, looking at people, processes, strategy, governance and structure. It will involve the active engagement of the council’s leaders, managers and staff as well as its partners, in order to make it a lived reality. Transformation will never be complete: it is a journey in which we will have to constantly respond to new challenges but also find and exploit new digital resources.
