Elections to be held on 6 May 2021

The following elections will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.   To vote in these elections you must be registered to vote by midnight on Monday 19 April 2021.

Gloucestershire County Council

The election for Gloucestershire County Council takes place every four years.  The next election is on Thursday 6 May 2021. Visit your council’s website to see the Notices of Election.

To stand as a candidate to become a councillor nomination forms need to be completed and returned to your local council by 4pm on Thursday 8 April 2021.  The full list of candidates standing in each ward will be published on 8 April 2021.

Police and Crime Commissioner

Gloucestershire is one of 43 police areas.   Each area elects a Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) every four years.  The next election for Gloucestershire will take place on Thursday 6 May 2021.
