Help your child cope with school / college
It is completely normal for children and young people to worry about things that happen at school or college from time to time. If you are a parent it can be really concerning and you might wonder what you can do to support them.
Below are some ways to help your child / children cope with school or college.
If your child is worried about bullying, it is important to let them know they are not alone and that they can always talk to you or another trusted adult like a teacher.
If they or someone they know is being bullied, their school will be able to put in place a plan to address the issue.
Reassure them that bullying is never their fault, and that their feelings (they might feel angry, sad, lonely or worthless) are normal.
