Negative Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test results

Please remember that if you receive a negative Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test, you are only negative at that point in time.
If you develop symptoms in the days after your negative result, you must get a PCR test as you may have COVID-19.

COVID-19 testing in Gloucestershire

There are two types of COVID-19 tests available - one for people who have symptoms and another for those who don’t.

- You will need a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test if you have symptoms.
- You will need a Lateral Flow Device (LFD) test (sometimes called a rapid test) if you have no symptoms.
