Self-isolating - coming into contact with someone who's tested positive

If you've been in close contact with someone who's tested positive for COVID-19 you must get a PCR test, whether or not you have symptoms.

Getting a PCR test lets you know if you had COVID-19 at the time you did the test.

Collect rapid tests at local pharmacies

Do not collect your tests from a pharmacy if you are displaying any of the following symptoms or are currently self isolating:

  • High temperature;
  • New continuous cough; and / or
  • Loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

If you have symptoms, self isolate and book a test for those with symptoms through the national testing portal.
